    I just don't enjoy running or jogging. When I have a reason I can run but just running for running's sake is something I hate. If you are like this, if you REALLY want to get some cardio, join a soccer team or some team sport you have to run in. (Something like softball you can play while drinking beer does NOT count.) :)

    That is so awesome. I stay on the elliptical and call that running. It hurts to run on the treadmill for me. But maybe I'll try harder. You can be my inspiration.

    As much of a tech head as you are, check into the Nike+ system http://nikeplus.nike.com/nikeplus/?locale=en_us . There is a whole community built around it.

    It inspired the hell out of me and I actually ran four 5ks last year.

    Also, go to a specialty running store and have a real fitting. Shoes make all the difference in the world.

    Glad to hear about your continued success! Go get yourself a 2yr old, then you'll get all the exercise you could possibly handle. Jennifer rides a damn elliptical deal for 45min every morning on top of that...have no idea where she finds the energy. I got on that thing a couple of years ago for like 10min and spent the next 2hrs hoping I would live!

    First off, thanks for the well wishes. It's going good after day 2. Now to answer.

    I enjoy the running. If I put my headphones on I'm in a different world and don't mind chugging along. I can listen to music, podcasts, and audiobooks.

    Tami, Shelley can't run either. Some women's just aren't built for it. But she can tear up that treadclimber or the elliptical.

    I might have to try that Nike+ thing. Brian, you were a larger guy like myself so you've obviously gotten into shape since the last time I saw you. Congrats.

    Well after three days I left foot was hurting so bad I haven't run since. Not sure what I did. I'm going to try again today after taking Thurs-Sun off.

    Wow, man, that is awesome.

    I'm a sprinter. I cannot do the long distances, even when I'm in shape.
